ABOUT

Chicco Gussoni Custom Presets

Chicco Gussoni began playing music at the tender age of 10, studying with his father Silvio, a noted director, arranger, clarinetist and saxophonist.
Chicco joined the prestigious Conservatory of Milan aged 12, and he graduated from there in 1985.
But the pull of the guitar was always strong. Chicco’s first was a classic model that he put steel strings on… to find that rock ‘n’ roll sound at last! He then set out to learn the six-string trade, and over a long and successful career has worked with the likes of Eros Ramazzotti, Nek, Laura Pausini, Max Pezzali, Ron, Biagio Antonacci, Franco Battiato, Claudio Baglioni, Lucio Dalla, Francesco Renga, Mango, Luca Carboni, Patty Pravo – all Italian stalwarts – as well as a number of significant foreign artists like Tony Levin, Stewart Copeland, David Rhodes, Greg Walsh, Steve Ferrone.
Chicco is also currently working in the most important television music production, the Sanremo Music Festival as Lead Guitar.
As well as making recordings and playing live performances and tours with a variety of artists.
His solo album, to be published in late 2015, will have special guests such as Tony Levin, Nek and Josh Smith.
